Does Clean Have a Scent?
Cleaning odors that linger after using conventional cleaning products means it’s clean, right? Um, no. What exactly creates this smell? Harsh chemicals emanating off the newly clean surface. This “wonderful scent” is harmful to you, your family and even your pets. They can cause skin rashes, headaches, coughing and more. Green cleaning products typically do not leave a smell behind which can make some people nervous, but a clean surface should not have any scent at all. Natural cleaning products remove any unsavory smells that were previously lingering and leave a fresh smell throughout your home or office.
Other than the harm it can do to our bodies, conventional cleaning products contain ingredients that can adversely affect the Earth’s eco-system. When the harsh chemicals are washed down the sink or dumped outside, it flushes its way into our waterways and natural aquifers. These chemicals then poison the water which can negatively affect humans, plants and animals. A green cleaning product is sustainably manufactured with products derived from safe and non-toxic biodegradable ingredients from the Earth itself.
Another benefit of going green is that you spend less money on cleaning products. This is because many can be used as an all-in-one cleaning solution. They can easily replace toilet bowl cleaners, surface cleaners (many disinfect & sanitize), mold and mildew removers, etc. You no longer need a dozen different cleaning products, only one or two is necessary. It will save you money in addition to saving the earth’s eco-system.
Help out the environment and your home by choosing green cleaning products and it will benefit you, your family and the environment!
