What do you do exactly?
We offer a personalized boutique maid service that offers safe and non-toxic cleaning to our customers. We pride ourselves on flexibility and meeting our clients’ needs. We strive to provide you with one maid (we call them “Cleanicians”) who will learn and specialize in your home’s cleaning preferences.
What is your process for hiring employees?
Our company screening process is extensive. We are careful to hire fabulous, conscientious Cleanicians who have been background checked and are bonded and insured.
What is the ScoreSheet?
The ScoreSheet is like a report card, and it’s our tool for ensuring we meet your cleaning needs. You can complete our Score Sheet right on our website, ensuring that we get your immediate feedback.
Do I need to provide products or equipment?
No. We provide all equipment for you. Not only do we bring everything we need to complete your job with sparkling quality, we also pride ourselves in using the best quality equipment and products available to commercial companies.
What kind of payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover.
Do you work weekends or evenings?
Yes, we do have several Cleanicians who work Saturdays and evenings.
What’s “green cleaning” and why is it important?
We care about our customers, our staff, and the environment; that is why we use earth-friendly products to clean and sanitize your home without stinky smells, harsh residues, or chemical impact associated with traditional products.
What do you use on stainless steel?
We use a wonderful, natural product that shines stainless and chrome beautifully.

Do you clean in teams or individuals?
For a one-time or initial clean, you may have two to four Cleanicians, depending on the size of your home. If your house is very large, you will have two Cleanicians, but the same techs will perform every cleaning. For regular maintenance cleans, we like to match your home up with a Cleanician whot has the experience and expertise needed for the cleaning your home demands. We strive to have the same Cleanician on every visit; this Cleanician will get to know your home and cleaning style, giving you a specialized cleaning every time.
Do I need to be home when the cleaning is done?
No. That’s completely up to you. Our licensed, bonded, insured employees know what they are doing and can be trusted to do a terrific job whether you are home or away.
Do you do one-time cleanings or do I need to sign up for regular service?
We can do either one. We perform a lot of party preparation or cleanup, semi-annual deep cleans, and get ready for your mother in-law, etc. The more frequent the service, the better pricing you will receive, of course.
Laundry, dishes, ironing… What kinds of extras can you do and not do for me?
Not generally, but let us know what you had in mind, and we can try to match you with a Cleanician who has experience and expertise that matches your needs.
What happens if something gets broken?
Of course we hope this never happens, but if it does, just report it to our office, and we will take care of it right away.
Do you have a referral program?
We do! We’re very proud of our referral program. For every referral who becomes a regular client, you receive a free cleaning!
Do you offer a guarantee?
We absolutely offer a guarantee! We aren’t happy until you are happy. If you are at all unsatisfied, just call our office within 24 hours and we will re-clean the missed area, no problem!
What time will you arrive?
We make sure your Cleanician will arrive at your home within a very short window of time; between 9 and 9:30 in the morning and between 12 and 1:30 in the afternoon.
If you prefer a different time, just let us know; we are very flexible!
What if I want to add a task to one cleaning?
Absolutely. If the task will take longer than 10 minutes, she will call the office to see what the price will be. Sometimes she may not be able to do an extra task if she needs to get to her next house.
Contractors or employees?
All of our Cleanicians here at Tranquil Environments are employees. This is to ensure you are completely covered and protected under our general liability insurance, bond & Worker’s Compensation. We also are crazy particular about how our team members clean our client’s homes; with contractors, the company is not allowed to give as much specific instruction. It is important to us to have a uniformity across the cleaning & overall experience that we provide.
Will they do my dishes?
Yes, your Cleanician is always up for dish duty! Any dishes that are in the sink will be washed and placed on a dish towel on the counter.
Should I tip?
A tip is never expected but always appreciated!
Can I change the tasks done for one visit?
You sure can. We will spend the usual amount of time in your home doing any other tasks that you like.
Do I pay at the time of service or do you bill me?
Actually, we accept payment at the time of service. This is typical of house cleaning services.
What happens if she burns my house down?
That would not be good, would it! ;) Not to worry, we got you covered. We carry general liability insurance. Whomever you hire, please make sure they carry this.
What if I want a team?
Not a problem. While most of our clients' homes are cleaned by one Cleanician, we accommodate any customer who would like a team instead!
